Gather the Children and bring them to Me!

The communicant/confirmand will enjoy a fun-filled day, having the opportunity to prepare for their Special Day and gaining a deeper understanding of nurturing their Soul.

The Retreat

The retreat will include:

​

  • Understanding how a relationship with Jesus and Mother Mary empowers us with gifts and graces received through the sacraments of Baptism, Confession, Holy Communion and Confirmation.

  • Listening to inspirational speakers and faith testimonials paired with audiovisual examples from films - The Bible Series, Mary of Nazareth, Superbook and Brother Francis.

  • Make a commemorative rosary bracelet which they can wear on the special day of their First Communion/Confirmation.

  • Venerate and pray with first class relics of numerous saints, including childhood saints such as St. Bernadette of Lourdes, and learn about the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima and the children who saw her: Jacinta, Francesco and Lucia. 

  • Adore the true Cross of Jesus and Veil of the Blessed Mother and venerate the relics of St Francis, St. Clare, St. Philip Neri, Mother Teresa, St. Padre Pio, St. John Bosco, St. Paul, St. Benedict, and many more...

  • Visit the Marian Shrine of Gratitude and pray the rosary.

  • Prayer and reflection during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

  • Participate in a worship concert and dance featuring contemporary Christian Rock music by St. Jude’s United Catholic Worship Band.

on the messages of Fatima, Prayers which were given to Francisco, Lucia and Jacinta, Prayers of Entrustment to Our Lady of Fatima.

Students may make their own sacramental rosary bracelet to wear on their special day. (Optional)
