Welcome to We Need a Break Program

Take a break while your preschooler develops skills with our licensed R.E.C.E. staff. While you have time to run errands, your child will be engaged at our parent relief program “We Need a Break”, a licensed nursery school program that provides a stimulating safe learning environment.

What the Program Offers

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Activities contribute significantly to children’s overall development, especially in
the areas of initiative, social relations, intellectual abilities, music, outdoor play
and movement.

All our programmed activities promote creative expression, school readiness and
school success such as: develop child language, social, reasoning and self-help
skills through literacy enhancement, encouragement of pre-reading skills, letters
and numeracy, circle time, and sensory activities. Learning about healthy eating
and nutrition is integrated into program activities.

Our program includes Healthy Child Screenings to ensure that potential barriers to
a child’s ability to learn are identified. If there’s a problem, parents are linked to the
appropriate resources.

Subsidy is available for all those who qualify.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 12:00pm
